At Xyphla, we don’t just build software—we build systems that serve real communities. That philosophy came to life when Xyphla IlmQuest, a platform designed and developed by Xyphla, was used to support a nationwide series of Quran and Azan competitions across Sri Lanka.
This initiative was hosted by HR Foundation, inspired by Fajr Council, and supported by KDMF – Kolonnawa Division Masjid Federation—bringing together technology, education, and community service under one mission.

Why Xyphla Built IlmQuest
Xyphla IlmQuest was created after identifying a clear gap:
most competition systems were generic, while madrasa competitions require structure, fairness, and respect for tradition.
So we built IlmQuest specifically for:
- Full-time Quran madrasas
- Part-time Quran madrasas
- Hifz (Hifl) competitions
- Azan competitions
This wasn’t a repurposed tool—it was engineered from the ground up by Xyphla to match how these competitions actually work.
A Nationwide Deployment — One Platform, Many Locations
The competition series travelled across Sri Lanka, and Xyphla IlmQuest was deployed at every stage, adapting seamlessly to different venues, judges, and participant volumes.

Clear Categories, Fair Competition
To ensure fairness, Xyphla IlmQuest structured the events into well-defined categories:
- HQF – Full-Time Quran Madrasa Category
- HQP – Part-Time Quran Madrasa Category
- Azan Category – conducted exclusively for Muazzins from across Sri Lanka
This structure allowed judges to assess participants within appropriate peer groups—something manual systems often struggle with.
